Hi guyss!! How r u?

Well, today I woke up and the firts things I thought about was what I was going to wear and I opened the Pinterest app. Here I find inspiration whenever I want to do something; whether it's how to drees up, craft ideas, tattoo ideas, even for my architecture works. I love this site because here I see everything that interests me and there are endless different ideas, and the best thing is that it's all throught with photos. I usually open this app every day, either to see how I'm going to dress today or to see what I'm going to have for breakfast. So I see this site very often.

This site tries to see photos, then on the homepage it show you what your possible interests are, then there is a topic search engine, then we have messages, an then you can see your profile where you have organized with boards of your interest.

Urban sustainability

 Hi guys! It's me again :) 

Well, today I've been thinking on some reasons why I'm studying architecture. And one of those is because with my profession I will be able to change through construction and city planning.

For example, thanks to architecture and urban planning we can change polluted and crowded cities with good city planning. Making safe and good quality bike lanes that  encourage the use of bicycles in a city. Or that public transport is powered by sustainable energy sources. These architectural strategies have already been used in other European countries (like France), where cities have been transformed where the car was given priority.

I see myself doing this with great courage in the future, because at the end of the day I will be changing a future in which I am going to be, in which my children may live. So I see myself very excited to star this change from my profession.

READING COMPREHENSION

 Well, every time I think in different places that I will known, and in this case when I read this article I saw three of them that I so interested tu visit one day. In my case, it’s most emotional trip far away because the best experience (for me) is when you travel a large distance and you arrive in the country for this objective. Is a pleasure. So, before to die I really want to know the next places: “Petra”, “Lascaux” and “Angkor wat”. The first reason that I chose these places is for their location. Is in the other part of this planet, far away from me. This is the most existing to me.

The other reason is because this places in particular their have a part of the architecture in the history, and my mind think, “In the future, I’ll know the different type and history of architecture". This career I really like, and my teachers to now a day I said “if you are student of this career, you have know the different architecture in the word if you can". And  that I really wanna do for the rest of my life. Travel with my passion, architecture. So these places added to my list to visit in the future.

SOPAIPILLAS PASADAS THE BEST OF THE RAINY DAYS

 

Well, it's me again! Hi everyone!! Today is very cold in Santiago, and usually for these days are prepared "Sopaipillas". Omg  Its the best of the winter. But I prefer to eat for this times of the year, "sopaipillas pasadas". That plus a rainy day, and the stove turned on, for me, is the perfect conbination. 

This food dish, its no a lunch or breakfast. In fact I eat it mainly in the afternoons. 

To prepare it, make the sopaipilla dough and cut it into circular molds. And then they are fried. Later, for the sauce of "sopaipillas pasadas" the chancaca is boiled with the wather, cloves an orange peel. And finally, the sopaipillas are already fried so that their texture is softer and they have a sweeter flavor.

 The really I like of this food its the sweet taste. And it's great how they dissove in your mouth when you chew them 

MY FAVORITE PIECE OF TECNOLOGY

 When I was en 12th grade happend the pandemic, so I think the buy a IPad for take notes, anotate over documents, etc. So my dad bought me my firts ipad. This artifeac change my life from here on, because for example many time I didn't need plot the documents of my school, and my teacher congratulation me on my order, no one they have the instruments ehat did I use. So here on my notes there are in one place, the document have a specific file and this simplified my life a lot. 

I have the IPad Pro 5th generation of 12.9 inch, this is the second one that bought because the other one burned many pixels and it didn't work for me because, sometimes I needed draw and the line or colors are cut in a part of the screen. This happend for my fall, but this its a another story. But the last Ipad  (that I have now a day) I bought with my money and I work a hard to get it. I wanted the same IPad that I has before because it was so nice, fast, new, and so pretty. 

Any one who ask me if  it's the best thing that that could happend to me in life because it's a very good object. Equals every penny invested. I recomend this tecnology piece, its very useful for this career and simplifies life when we don't have a computer. It is also very useful not to bring many notebooks or folders, everything is in one place

MY CAREER CHOICE

 When I was little, i dream with travel arround the word. I remmember that, i said "I want travel for volunteer, and I'll know others cultures, people, animals. And maybe, to love of my life". Its was funny, because the I wanted be veterinarian, because my aunt inspured me with love for animals and once I picked one up with her and we took care of it. I was sure that I wanted to save animal lives throughout my life, but one day I realized that in practice it was impossible for me to resist  smells, blood and especially suffering. So I left that option aside. Then I thought that engineering was going to be my dream career because I was good at math and I was going to do well financially. But I did engineer courses and I didn't like the at all, and the really made me unhappy. So when applying for university degrees, I put architecture first because it was always my dream career, and my optios were only architecture but in diferent universities and the I put a couple of engineering. And the experience so far has been very goood, I like the social environment, my friends. But it has been very exhausting, there are nights when you don't sleep and sometimes go wrong, but its fine. 

I hope one day to work for modern social housting. Make at least one iconic building, and make my own house, Those would be my dreams jobs.

My personal information

 

I am Jossefa with two s, I am 19 years old. My birthday is in July 01. I live in “El monte” but before I lived in Peñaflor close to my grandparents. I love it spending time with my family, really it is very comforting, especially in these difficult times for us. In my free time I play volleyball in the team of our faculty Tuesday and Thursday after classes. I been to doing a volunteer in Peñaflor for “techo para Chile” in a camp. There I gave classes to the children who didn’t go to classes, so I went on Saturday mornings. I live with my grand parents because they have medical problems, my grandfather have blood cancer (actually 1 week ago he was discharged from an operation for a 20 cm tumor), and my grandmother have stomach problem and the only solution is an operation and it is very expensive. I have a older sister and a little brother. About my pets, I have 4 dogs and 1 cat (a poodle her name is “Bela”, a  quilter his name is “pipo”, a dogue de bordeaux his name is “zlattan” and my favorite my cat, her name is “preciosa” but we also say: “cochoña”, “choni”, “chono”). 

My downtown is between Melipilla and Talagante. It’s very small and close to my house we have a giant orchard, so when my family gets together we go to walk there, and sometimes we bring from the sowings that there are jiji.
